How is AI and machine-learning applied in OIL?

OIL contains an AI or Machine Learning framework which is based on the Microsoft Azure tooling. All data available in the OIL data lake is connected to OIL.

OIL applies AI to support and enhance decision-making processes. This is in particular applied to allocating and dispatch picking orders to guarantee the customer promise, increase margins, optimize inventory and measure and enhance information.

We do believe Machine Learning capabilities enhance processes and to improve business rules decisions. The actual learnings from our clients is, that they prefer to configure business rules instead of the machine learned business rules.
